The top is finished in a traditional Shagreen effect — an old Oriental technique once used on fine cabinetry — adding refined texture and contrast. All drawers reveal a burnished brass surround when opened, while only a fine shadow line is visible when closed, creating a precise and elegant detail. All drawers are set on runners with a soft-close mechanism for a smooth, refined action.
